How this works

Scene search. Type what's happening in the game ("a bad swamp", "tense vampire court"). The text is matched against each track's tags — moods, genres, themes, locations, factions, actions — and results are ranked by overlap, with moods weighted highest. The tags pulled from your query show under "Interpreted as". Empty the box to go back to plain filtering.

Minimum fit. A score floor. A track stays only if it scores at least this percentage of the top result; the readout shows the cutoff and how many weaker tracks are hidden. Push it up to keep just the closest matches, down to widen the net. The value persists between sessions.

Banning a tag. The "−" on an Interpreted-as chip drops every track carrying that tag, even a perfect match. The ban also lights up in the filter list. Use it to cut a concept the query dragged in — a tavern scene with no combat, for instance.

Filters. Narrow by tag without a query. Inside one category the values are OR'd; across categories they are AND'd. "Loops only" limits the list to tracks that carry a seamless loop.

Preview vs. play. The red button auditions a track on your screen only — the table hears nothing. The gold button plays it for everyone: the track loads into the "Scene Player" playlist and goes out to all connected clients through Foundry's normal playback bar and Music volume.

Scrubbing a preview. While a preview runs, a bar appears at the bottom with its position and length. Drag it to jump anywhere in the track, or use the pause button. This affects your audition only — it never touches what the players are hearing.

Playing a whole set. "Play these" sends the current results (after the fit floor and any bans) to the Scene Player and starts them; tracks run in order, advance on their own, and loop when the list ends. A track's gold button does the same but seeds the queue from that one track followed by its nearest tag-neighbors — closer to a station than a single cue.

Saved playlists. Tick the checkboxes and use "Add selection to playlist" at the bottom. The dialog either creates a new named playlist or appends to one you already have — existing entries are left alone and anything already in there is skipped. You can also start from the other end: right-click a playlist in Foundry's Playlists sidebar and pick "Add tracks (Ivan Duch)" to open this browser already aimed at it. Either way this is separate from the Scene Player and does not touch it.
